We would like to share some inside knowledge of Vella’s new weapon <Dual Blades> and explain some concepts and skills.
As a Mistress of Dual Blades, Vella resembles a vampire with her cold and rapid movements. And she has stunning Red Eyes (another skill). That’s why Vella got the nickname “Vampire” (At least if we can believe the rumors that go around in Erinn, hehe…).

After a successful series of smash attacks with the Dual Blades, Vella can reach the Coolness effect. The Cold Heart skill can be used after the Coolness effect has been applied.
The stages of Coolness affect the duration of the Cold Heart effect. When Vella reaches theCold Heart state, various attack patterns become available and stamina restores.
So, you can perform different smash combinations. After you reach the Cold Heart state, more attack patterns will be available to you. The Dual Blades definitely have a multi-faceted quality, don’t they?

<Attacks>
.Lunar Flash is the first smash.
Spiral Spin.
The Spin is performed multiple times and creates great damage to enemies. The only weak point of the skill is that the motion of the attack takes a long time to finish.
The second smash, Mist Slash, has the widest attack range, but deals comparatively small damage and consumes a high amount of SP.
The third smash, Luminous Rush, is a straight line attack and has a narrow, yet long attack range.

<Dodge Skills>
Moment Leap is a Dodge Skill. It’s a somersault without touching the ground with your hands.
It’s good for rapid movements and relocation at long distances, but the Dodge is very short.

<Active Skills>
1) Dominate
You can control the enemy with one hand and smash with the other hand. The Cooldown takes a bit long, but you can reach the Coolness effect with this skill.
2) Red Eyes
This skill allows you to carry out a powerful attack on a boss monster or enemies using two hands. In a normal state, you can destroy weak enemies. But when you reach the Cold Heart state, you can perform a powerful drag, as shown in the picture above. You can block a monster’s powerful attack with the Red Eyes skill.
3) Cooling
This skill increases the time of the Cold Heart effect.
4) Polaris Sonata
This skill allows you to attack a boss monster and enemies by dominating them with the chain. And it restores the time of the Cold Heart effect.
5) Vampire’s Kiss
You can perform a jump and spin 3 times to attack enemies with the Vampire’s Kiss skill.
